Melville-Knox Highland Christian Centre

A space for gathering, learning and strengthening our community

Frequently Asked Questions

How are we funded?

We are primarily funded by donations. These come from across the Highlands, other parts of Scotland and the UK, and particularly by friends in the Netherlands who have a deep affection for Scotland and for its spiritual heritage.

Is the community centre accessible for individuals with disabilities?

Yes, the building has accessible access to the left of the building. We also have an accessible toilet. We are determined to make the building as accessible as possible for everyone.

Is there parking available?

The building is on a cul-de-sac, which is very quiet and has a large lay-by, which can hold around 10 cars. Accessible parking is also available on request just outside the building.

How can I contact the community centre?

The best way to contact us is by email via highland@melville-knox.org.uk

Can I rent space at the community centre for an event?

The centre is available for use by other charities and community groups, subject to standard terms and conditions. If you are looking for a venue to hold an event, please email us for further details.

What is our vision?

Our vision is for this building to be a place that brings people together, supports families and young people, and creates an environment where everyone can feel nurtured and develop physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
